Well the outlines around his arms are pretty much horrible.
I'd ditch the outline altogether (like you did with his hat and overalls) or make it a solid outline (without AA) and then colour the line according to your lightsource. Last suggestion I have for you is pick your own colours. If you like Monsoon's colours, then take a look at the sorts of colours he picks across a number of different pieces, searching for trends, and then try and pick a palette of your own that is somewhat similar from what you've learned. ;)

Apart from that, you have a somewhat original - and instantly recognisable - design, so :y: I guess.

Wasn't sure which was your intended sequence...
I'll leave the animation for someone else to crit, but for the future, if you're going to ask someone to animate it for you, at least take the time to arrange and line up the frames.

He's talking about the Mario on the left most frame and yes I do agree his edit looks better. Nose might be a little too red and distracting in the edit though. I'd just tone it down and it should look great. Also the M on the hat is dying to have some slight AA imo.

I have another thought, maybe instead of posting a ton of new threads asking for people to animate for you, you could post them in one thread and probably get a free animation program.

Brilliant!
...
I'd make his body and/or head move some, too, so it looks a little more natural. I just think it all looks really static right now.
