It's pretty cool but the hammer lacks some weight. I'd make it look harder for the character to swing it. The hair looks a bit messy for a few frames when it's over the face, but the motion is nice.

There's very little consistency here, makes it look like his arms are made out of goo. The frame timing also needs work, as mentioned above.

Try to do some animations with a focus on keeping forms rigid and consistent, get a feel for that! While making things rubbery can work well in between frames, if it's the whole animation like this it's VERY noticeable.

Also his legs jump forward like a foot during the swing lol

Yeah the goo arms has always been an issue, I notice a lot of people doing sort of modular movement with pixel art, which I always set out to do, but end up wanting totally original frames, I should fight that urge to work with totally new sprites in each frame. I will post my next animation soon taking on board all comments here! thanks guys!

From what I can see it looks like you're leading the animation with the hammer rather than the person, so it looks like the hammers is pulling the man's arms instead of the arms pulling the hammer. By moving the arms a frame before you move the hammer it can help and having the hammer resist a little when initially lifted to show a heavy weight to it.
