New in these parts

on: November 29, 2006, 03:15:06 am
Hi all, new to the boards obviously. I've been lurking here a little while, and decided to join. Hope I can improve my skills during my stay here.

I'm really having trouble getting this to look nice. My main problems are the hair, and the third color for skin. Should I just get rid of that color completely, or shade a different way? Any help on making him look slightly less feminine would be greatly appreciated!

Killer, after seeing your example of your knowledge on dithering. (In the lines thread)
I don't think you should be telling anyone that they need to dither.  :-\

Isn't dithering generally more for rough surfaces? I already tried the hue shift thing, didn't turn out too well. >_<
