MC for Platformer

on: December 05, 2017, 04:48:14 pm
Hi everyone!

I've been working on a 16-bit platformer and my coder and I both agree there's something off about our MC.

Would anyone have suggestions on how to make this character look nicer?

Thanks in advance!  :D

Edit: Image was broken, please let me know if there's any further problem! :)

I kinda feel like his arms are too muscular and too curvy, also his shoulder line is facing too much to his side in my opinion (shoulders facing 100% to his right, feet are facing 45% to the right and the head is facing straight forward). he kinda looks like a dude from an egyptian painting.  https://media1.britannica.com/eb-media/25/83825-004-451EFABC.jpg

I'm not sure if this was intended tho, if not, make sure all of his body "components" are facing in the same direction :)

He looks like he’s deliberately curving his spine into an uncomfortable position. If you shunt the torso and his left arm back a pixel but keep everything else where it is, I think it should look a little more natural.
