yup, very nice. you should give him a background to stand on, and expand on the technique to create the illusion of all the diferent textures in nature...you know, like how in Yoshi's Island ice would have more angular strokes, and grass would have round blotches on it.

reminds me of those magnetic desk toys that you form into people and whatnot. Interesting to a degree but lacks something I can't quite put my finger on.

Thanks, glad you like it! Interesting comparisons you guys came up with, none had ocurred to me.

I'll be adding a background, and more detail. Play with the palette some. Conceit, that idea sounds good, i'll give it a go.

If you made all the blocks the same size it would be like a 3d drawing of pixel art which would be cool.
