Pixel cat for my game

on: November 13, 2017, 06:56:29 am
I wanna draw some cool cat for my game. Have no artist skills, so pixels is only one graphical solution. I'm trying to achieve flappy bird like appearance.

What should I change? shadows, size of pixels, maybe i didnt portray something or did it bad. Give me advice, or correct my art please.

As for the shape I think it's quite good but the hind legs look a bit thin for me. But I don't understand why did you decide to draw it in 4x4px? Or did you just zoom it for convenience? (Btw you forgot to add [img] to you picture address - if you do it, there will be no need in zooming - the forum can zoom the inserted picture by clicking on it)
For the shadows and lights - you should first think about the light source - is it located straight up above the cat? There is a cool topic about drawing a fox on this forum - you should check it out: https://pixelation.org/index.php?topic=19686.0 - it can be helpful for you  :)
