what are your favorite palettes?

on: September 05, 2017, 12:22:45 am
hi everyone!! i'm very new to pixelation, seems like a nice little community.
i'm a 17 year old canadian girl who is trying to get herself back into pixel art as much as possible!!!

anyways, moving onto the question- what are your favorite palettes? can be any amount of colors, any type, whatever floats your boat.
could you post a chart of the palette or something along with your reply? i'd love to collect/generate more palettes to use in aseprite!

as for my favorites, here are two i've been messing around with a lot that i absolutely adore; the super plum 21 palette and jason mercado's palette!

i might make my own palettes in the future and post 'em here as well if you'd guys like!!!

Hi, and welcome.
Two palettes are pretty well-known and often referenced here:
Arne's palette (16 color)
https://androidarts.com/palette/16pal.htm
DawnBringer's 16-color palette, "DB16"

Your favorites are quite saturated. If you want to try something different, you may want to check how the addition of greys (or at least less-saturated colors) can help you build longer color "ranges" :
