Try to work on your shapes. The leaves look like a wad of chewed bubblegum here, you might find better results trying to add some texture so the leaves are more clear.
The shape on the top is also strange, too flat.

Maybe you could do something about the Roots?
They look good but think they are toooo simple,
let them grow more wavy I think ^.^
