Position has been filled for now. Thank you. I am currently looking to hire a pixel artist for an in-progress RPG project. There are many inspirations for this project such as Secret of Mana, Seiken Densetsu 3, Terranigma, Legend of Zelda, Hyper Light Drifter and many others.
The game has been in development by myself for approximately 1.5 years and after many iterations I feel that now there is enough in place to actually create a level content. That said, I'm looking for a pixel artist who is capable of creating character animations, tile sets and a simple GUI.
I'd like to make sure that the artist is provided with a list of all requirements for the project and is capable of creating art with the quality, style prior to any payment. This project is a part time project for me as I do work a 9-5, but am hoping that there is an acceptable level of communication both ways so neither of us are left in the dark. Not being an artist someone with creative ideas, and passion for the art they're creating would be much appreciated.
Payment is negotiable, depending on the skills and experience, I am willing to pay between $15 and $30 an hour.
