Chopped down trees in the background. I'm trying to create some feelings of loss but it doesn't really work. Too low res? Bad color coordination?



Anyways, how do I represent grey clouds correctly?

Right now it kinda looks like a cliff face-=
I feel like you need to make some circular shapes in the clouds to make them more cloud-like.

It's not exactly a cloud like yours, but i think you'll understand what i mean about the circular shapes.
Ignore the green bit.

yeah currently its hard to imagine the background as clouds, try to lookup references, especially other pixel art clouds.
