Not particularly! Instead of removing bits, try bending the legs forward a bit until they hit center mass! Here, I've done a bit of an edit:

I tried to showcase what I mean here (and in the process redesigned the legs a lil bit) but I didn't QUITE succeed in it.
Think about the mechanics of it, and if it would balance well on the single point without tipping forward or backwards. Usually, so long as the point touching the floor is in the very middle of where the weight would be distributed, it should be fine.
