Nice old school style. Can you upload it as png instead of jpg? There are too many colors coming through

Cool. I would suggest making the tree tiles a bit more subtle. They are showing up as very repeated. You might be able to get the tower to look more interesting too by using a warmer colour in the sunlight, but I'm not sure what this piece is for / if you are using a pre-set palette.

It's for a game. I'm using NES pallette. I'll see what I can do about the trees, I really don't like how they turned out.

Doing this nearly crashed my computer for whatever reason, but based on how it came out at 1:1 it might be wise to eschew the light color you chose in favor of binary black/green as I've made it here.
The reason being that the desaturated blue/green(Colorblindness is getting me here, blah) made me think, at a glance, that the tower was part of a wall.

Looking musch better to my eyes! A better transition between thr the two forest densities might help though, kinda shoots abruptly into the backing treewall before the mountains

Excellent change, looks much smoother now without compromising the tiled rough aesthetic of the games from that era.

-you could use atmospherical perspective on the far away horizon to liven up the scene
-you could apply more perspective to the trees
-you could give the battlements a portruded profile
-the contrast of the stones on the top is too much. Introduce another color which ties it together to a single plane
-the front merlons are perspectivically seen to small for the side merlons, move them in the middle
-get rid of that double pixel black line in the stone bricks at the frontplane of the tower

just out of curiosity: is there any specific system you are doing this for or are there any restrictions you set for yourself?

@Cyangmou I'm doing this for PC..as far as restrictions go, I would say I'm restricted to being a bad artist :P(I'm really new at this). BTW this looks amazing. I'll see what I can do.

Imho, the biggest issue is that your tower IS still square with à square stairs tile. The border suggests 1:2 perspective, meaning that anything that has à square top should bé drawn with à 1:2 ratio rectangle.

I like this new version, but you're still missing a transition! Rule of threes, foreground midground and background. You've got a solid fore and back, but there needs to be some midground trees to properly segue between the two!

That said, they are an EXCELLENT look, and even if you stopped here to work on other things for your game it would probably be fine!

I tried making a transition but nothing seems to work for me, I thought it was because the front trees were 32px high, the background trees are 16px So I shifted it down, front trees are now larger. But IDK i feel like im stuck. I thank all of you who have helped me so far. You guys have been really helpful (as always). I'm more than happy with the result already I just don't like leaving things undone.

I'd say that fixes the problem handily for me, at least!
Given the era you're trying to emulate, a slight bit of jankiness is even preferable for accuracy's sake!
