welp, I thought since the season is over and all I should post some progress

I feel like it's going somewhere now :p still work to be done

no real idea what any of it is aside from the woman XD. I may speficy it later, I want it to be conceptually intriguing. dont expect the rendering of my references though, they were just sources of inspiration for composition and general color/atmosphere

if any of it looks like anything and you like that, or FEELS like it should be about something, please tell me, might help me nail down the concept :p it's weird how long I'm taking with this (can almost feel Ptoing disapproving :p) but I hadnt been this ambitious with a landscape ever so I guess it was to be expected.

I had held from posting because I felt bad about my WIP, but thank you darchangel! heh, fun little spin on what I asked :p  santa looks like he doesnt really approve of what he's reading...maybe twas too much a night for him? :p

Whatever the wait happens to be, the sheer quality of this gift makes it totally worth it! Conz, you are the man. Conceptually, that piece is really shaping up, and I'd say the tone is perfect. Now I see where you were going in the first place, aha.
