Need Pixel artist for project video game !

Hi everyone,

I am in need of a new pixel artist who can draw characters (humanoids and monsters), in 4 ways (facing up, down, left and right), animated in 3 frames. It is for my video game project “A Lost Dreamer”.

A lost dreamer is a project conceived under rpgmaker, a software dedicated to developing independant video games. This project is a French one which will be translated in English eventually.

I am working on this project with a little team comprised of

* A graphic designer

* A composer

* And myself who does pretty much everything else.

This project will never be sold and will be available freely to all ,on PC, via project-hosting platforms. We are all amateurs ( except my composer which is like a god to us) and everyone of us has some other main job. We’re all working on this project on our free time. This project is akin to those vintage rpgs on consoles like PS1 and SNES. It is a hybrid of Secret of mana, Grandia and Final Fantasy.

Evidently, I don’t really have a budget available to pay the artist but as with the old artist I had (which quitted for school reasons), I can shed about 30 euros(Paypal transaction) for 4 characters (movements included). That is the maximum budget I have.

Thirty lousey bucks?  This world is too hard on artists

I'm with the above, animated movement sprites for four seperate characters would be four times that unless you want absolute garbage quality. You might want to try saving up some.
