Arm Atanomical Figurine

on: October 12, 2006, 01:15:40 am

UPDATE

I kindof quit pixel art for a while and I just got back in.
I was more worried on the shading then the actual anatomy it self.
CNC is welcome o! :y:

It's a good start..

First thing I see is some anatomy issues.
Another thing, most people have 5 fingers. Refer to the following picture for vein position, proportion, etc..
Lower part of forearm should be thinner.

Keep at it!

Methinks the fingers should be a bit longer.  Also, the middle finger should be the longest, while the pointer and ring should be about the same length.  I think the pointer finger on yours is about the right length, but the others should be scaled up proportionally.
Always remember: a preposition is not something you should end a sentence with.

It looks close to an arm. I would add "the joint" which is the elbow. The arm doesn't curve elsewhere unless there is a joint connecting the forearm to lowerarm.

Let me re-explain.
My main objective of this was to define the muscle of the arm, not the hand. And if you turned your arm to the side you really wouldnt see an elbow joint :-*

Heres a tip, be a little more open with your perceptions. Yours is not the only perception there is. I can't speak for the rest, but when I turn my arm, I see an elbow joint.

Kind of an odd title for a thread where the actual anatomy wasn't as much a worry, eh?

Sho' nuff.

The upper arm should be longer.
