[Closed][Small Project] Seeking animated cartoon eyes

on: October 02, 2016, 08:34:14 pm
I need some eye animations for an electronics project I'm working on. Specifically I need simple animations of a pair of eyes looking left, right, and blinking. To get a feel for the effect I'm looking for check out this: https://learn.adafruit.com/animated-electronic-eyes-using-teensy-3-1/overview

My target format is an LED grid for each eye (specifically: https://www.adafruit.com/products/3162). This has 9x16 pixels - monochrome! - and is capable of displaying each pixel with 128 grades of brightness. Hence I think a cartoon style would be most effective - but I'm open to suggestions!

My plan would be to start with one style and simple animations. I'm happy to pay up to $25/30 per hour (though I'd need some guidance on how many hours this piece of work would take). If I find something I like I'd be happy to commission a couple of alternative styles and more varied animations.

If you have any questions / need any clarifications please ask!

*Edit* I've found someone for this project for just now. Many thanks for your replies!

Thanks for the replies! I'll try and get through them later today but might be tomorrow before I get a chance to reply properly.

A couple more points: Some people's replies look quite cut-and-paste. I get it - but if you can demonstrate that you've taken in the brief and have a feel for what I'm looking for that's a definite plus :).

No strict timelines, but it's a small project so I'd hope for a draft within a week from starting and the full thing done in 2-3 weeks at the very most.
