Okay, those are pretty cool, but..

- I don't see many people who lift both legs in a banana-split position when they run.
- Looks like you made a new sprite at every frame.. i usually just copy-paste my old one and tweak. The hair and face width look really messed up in the third frames.

I suggest you look through a few tutorials about pixel art (and shading and color theory) before making an entire game. And also, making a game is incredibly hard. Or are you looking for one of those cheapish game-making programs? Yeah, you could use those too.. (i hate them)

Anyways, the greatest pixel tuts in pixel history:

Good luck!

ceddo: There's nothing wrong with game making programs, it's the end product that matters.

Sorry for being off-topic.

That is a good program to work with for making games, seeing as it has drag and drop for beginners, but adds a great deal of depth for extended use, even into 3D games.

Yup, thats what me and my group at http://eocommunity.co.uk/index.php use.  And a great deal of my most played PC games of the last few years were made with it too.  New version of it is out soon,  GM7.0, and it's extremely cheap to register if ya wanna unlock everything but still highly usable if you prefer not to register at all.

EDIT: grrrr useless freakin' host went down.  Always does when I show people... piece of crap.
