Animating a tiny character.

on: September 11, 2016, 05:33:52 pm
Hi, i made this animation some time ago, how could i improve the character design and the motion?

I miss some frames because the gif contains 2 animations:
-The girl above the gem.
-The girl entering on the gem as a shadow spirit.

I guess it will look better with some dark shades at the hair.  :y:

Not necessarily, though that may help.

You could link up the two animations pretty easily by adding a frame or two between when she's sitting and when she flies up.  Otherwise, the wings/everything else could use movement (There's also a few unmoving pixels in the left wing, and her eyes don't blink properly.)

The part where she turns into a shadow could be either sped up, or you could drop a few frames.  It's a bit too slow, though it looks nice.

if you post the original resolution version I can do a couple tweaks, it really is just missing some intermediary frames between sitting and flying that could be pretty easily remedied with some smearing
PSA: use imgur
