[CC][WIP][OC] Game Banner.

Thoughts? I really like it, but my wife thinks it is too busy. What do you guys think? All feedback would be greatly appreciated, thank you for your time!

Mixed resolutions tend to not look very good. I'd try to change the text to be the same resolution as the sprite, otherwise I'm afraid I have to echo your wife's complaint.

I guess I just don't understand why you're placing all these characters around the title.
I think the design of the title without all the characters is strong enough on its own.
does your game have a protagonist? or are all those characters playable characters?
If you did want to have a character in the title, make it the protagonist.
else, I'd remove all but the one at the very right, cutting into the design. I think his placement works well and makes the most sense (he looks like an ARCHER, not a tank dude or a knight/witch).
the others just seem out of place and tacked on.

I also don't like the characters cluttering up the logo. Place them below the logo in a row, perhaps? If you want to the characters doing something interesting, then have them interact with each other, but try to avoid having them actually overlap the logo more than a teeny bit, because otherwise it just looks too busy.

It's an infinite runner and they're all playable characters. I get what you're saying though. This banner is being designed to go at the top of the play store when people are looking at the app. Like in this picture.



I guess I was trying to fit on as much info as I could. No sense in putting all that in if it kills the image.

Something more along the lines of this perhaps?

I like this one with a few changes
-move witch off logo to top left.
-move moustache man and feather hat man to stand on ground

the knight isnt as strong a design as the others. i would swap him for witch doctor or king

yeah, i'd just remove the characters from the logo altogether.
i don't mean to be harsh but it doesn't look good and impedes readability.

Make them do something.
And logo interaction is fine but put some action or reason to it.



Try giving the viewer something fun to look at, instead of them just standing there.
