I don't get this trend, but please, finish and perfect the artwork first, it makes for much nicer art.

No need to insult people, keep cool. !yus!
There are no ugly colours, only ugly combinations of colours.

Don't flame me... actually read and think about what I said. Finish the lineart before you start coloring and shading.

In general, I think angel wings sprout from the back. Also, as it is, the wings you have are shaped(the coloring doesn't hurt it XD) in a way to invoke an assumption of their being fins. As well, your lines all over could really use some cleaning up. The jeans seem to be part of the shoes, or vice versa, add a bit of difference or show some sock. The jeans are one of the better aspects of the piece, but they have very jagged edges and are far worse at the bottom than at the top.

I'd never have gotten the intended message out of that, either, Takai. It sounded to me as if you wanted him to finish the piece, and THEN show people. Whatever, it's passed, on with the C&C!

To me, it seems as if he's leaning forward a little. Perhaps I'm losing my mind. Also, I'm going to assume the entire bluish-purple areas are going to be reformed or expanded, 'cause they don't make that much sense at the moment. The wings are pretty sissy-looking fairy-style wings, and the tail-thing... is... what, exactly?

Eww, that was some gross criticism. I'll agree, the pants are well done, as is the arm (though the fist, I suppose, is still under construction).

Mmhmm, keep at it.

my advice: study wings.  Angels are most often protrayed as having

falcon wings http://www.onthewing.org.uk/images/on%20the%20wing1.jpg
or dove wings http://www.mdc.mo.gov/nathis/birds/doves/images/dove3.jpg

but eagles, swans, and even hawks have had their wing-patterns studied and applied to angels.  find a reference that has the proper shape, do some studies, and then redo the wings so that they are believeable

here also is the very basic - raptor - wing pattern, which I most commonly use for being that do not exist in nature

good start, and god luck finishing it :P
A mistake is a mistake.
The same mistake twice is a bad habit.
The same mistake three or more times is a motif.

Oh, I'm sorry everyone, I was wrong. I said artwork when I should have said lineart. Feel free to send me vicious PMs.  :-[
