First pixel artworks

on: March 26, 2016, 10:40:03 pm

I'm specially interested in making scenery pixel art in the future, I'm still a newbie at this.
Not sure if I even know what I'm doing, so I decided to start with some trees.
All im currently doing is drawing the contour, filling in and then just almost always randomly clicking to give some texture and looks.
I want to hear everything you've got to say, any tips, any thing really.

Thanks! ::)

Looks good for the beginning!
Looks a bit noisy (lots of single pixel) also the trunk the of the pin tree looks a bit thick.
Just a random hobby gamedev passing by O:

Good composition and style overall, but I feel as though a general change in color might help too, because the palette for both trees seems a bit washed out.
