haha, I would love to see a TMNT crawling from your back to your shoulder and then to see him poked away :P
in the shadows, lurking.

That is such an awesome idea that I may very well have to do that one day!

Holy crap! There's so many awesome portrait avatars! I'm lovin' them, people.

'Decided to give a go at it, so here we go...

I personally don't know if making it double the size would be good for me because it's already pretty big in file size as it is.
Is there a way to make the file size smaller? This has always been an issue for me when I would make large pixel animations.

I love your eyes, they are really nicely made. I think the normal expressions could be there a bit longer, since the astroboy appears to fast. Thats pretty much the only thing i dislike, really nice job  :y:

baccaman - can you post the other version of your avatar again - with the ambient lighting, i thought it looked super.  perhaps animate it so it changes between different lightings ?

Thank you, guys. ^_^

I'm really going to need to get me a more advanced animated GIF maker one of these days. heh

And you're about right, Baccaman. I'm a freelancer of sorts. I'm honored that you think I'm at a proffesional level. Coming from you, that's a great compliment!  :)

Oops. Forgot about posting this...
Just wanted to show this for fun.

Well, as said, this is just lovely :)
Perhaps the last frame could have less square irises... but still eyes are a gem to look at!
The only thing I really have a issue with is the background... maybe too many hues... is it still temporary perhaps? I noticed you did not do any AA against it...
Anyway, hard to notice given the cuteness of the rest ;)

i swear i saw an alternate version of your 'fad-avatar' with ambient lighting down the right hand side.  If this piece never existed - never mind.... but if it did i would love to see it again.

You prolly mean this one.

There are no ugly colours, only ugly combinations of colours.
