The C64 sprite is really cool looking, but the shadows make it look like you have very large cheeks and a concave upper lip.  :P

Final Avatar. I had to salute one of my favorite films of all time.

End of line...

My faddy.

c64 palette and wide pixels but I didn't stick to the "3+1 colors per 4x8 tile" limitation. I'll try to fix that soon.

No Tremulant, I feel late :)

Sorry if I'm being extremely dense, but what IS the fad?
C64 colors?Horizontal bands in the bg?
"Baboy" is Filipino for pig.

The fad is having an avatar that's a portrait of yourself.  Most people also copied the horizontal bands and the palette, some people animated theirs with other graphical restrictions, but the fad is just the portrait avatar.

ok what the hell, I did one.  It ain't animated or anything.  I mainly did it for some more Amstrad CPC practice as am working on games for the old machine and need to practice the wide pixel mode some more as am to used to using its 4 color 320x200 resolution.  This portraits based on an old pic of me cos I currently have really short hair that's so freakin' boring to draw.
keep on moving, lil dude...

without trying to come across as a complete dolt, how the hell am I supposed to easily scale it to 2x after having made it at 1x ??

never mind the above, it as easy as doing a 2x image scale with nearest neighbour :D

1x 2x
