Nah, most of any known artist that plays a mentionable role in art history is fine with me, Dali would be fine just as well as Malevich (somebody do that one heh)

If it's Malewitsch you're after...

I'm gonna try to do The Blinding of Samson.

I'll post when I'm done, which'll be 20-30 years from now.

Nice one, ptoing.  I'm assuming that's following restrictions and everything?

I love that Magritte painting, the juxtaposition between day and night really stirs me.

Yes, it follows the ZX Spectrum limits, 2 colours per 8x8 and only either light or dark colours in each square.

Snake: Great, instant save.

ptoing: Yes, it was really like bespoken for the speccy limits. Really nice as i already told you.

The Birth of Chun Li

 28 colors

After Botticelli's Birth of Venus. I only picked that one because it was the first thing i found on my harddrive :)
I abandoned Street Fighter style at some point, but you can still see my failed attempt at nice selout. Ptoing helped me with a nice edit some time in the middle of process, with a couple of tweaks for Chun. He also pointed out a number of times that the head was kind of off, but i couldn't get it to look any better than it is now.
What do you mean, "overdithered"? :P

edit: oh yeah, i used this as a reference for Chun Li
