I have a few tips to give KB90.
1. There are tons of colors on your character, and if Photoshop is screwing up, try using graphics gale, its made for pixel art, and its free.
2. Make a still pose for your character, if you do that it will be a little easier to animate
3. Work on shading with high contrast colors, because a lot of times, simpler can be better
4. As for the walking animation, look up other peoples walking/running animations and study how the legs move
5. The outlines are a little weird, they are different dark shades, and are not completely black
But everything else is looking great, your character kind of reminds me of terraria.
