[C+C] Simple platformer sprites

I am trying to draw some simple platformer sprites, for example like Shovel Knight game sprites.

i don't think the hard blue background is doing u any favours.
try 50% bright grey to help u find balance.
try reducing the need to have black outlines around every shape inside the sprite.
