Isometric character

I was doodling some stuff in my sketchbook and stuff and this came out. It didn't really turned out to be what I wanted, but I like her anyways. Contrast is low because of some reasons I won't go into, I'm not changing that I'm afraid. All other comments are welcome...

I just wondered about the lump on her face. I would've thought it should look something like this:

thats quite the busty gal.  Pamella Anderson maybe?  Looks great though, gill.  Your selout could use some work, but thats not much to say.  Put some clothes on the poor porn star  :)

I was animating yesterday to see if that was plausible and not too much work. She animates like a charm :). I'm thinking about what to do with her though. I'm still not sure on what I want her to be. I guess I'll have to ponder on it.

Lawrence: it's a chibi head, the lump is a super deformation of a cheekbone, I find it cute that way ;)

Let's see if I can give her hair...

Make her a witch with a neat character design, I think that's be neat. Give her a blackcat.

Here's the animation test, based on the enterbrain tutorial. I have wanted to do this for a long time, and since I noticed the similarities between my sprite and their, I thought I would try the jumping animation out.




And here's the naked witch!

I think I'd be funny if you had her jumping like that with a cat on her head flailing around :)

I've taken the liberty of adjusting some perspective problems in terms of 1(96)/2(48) perspective tiles:


It still looks like the arms are a tad off, the right one needs moved up and down a tiny bot, the left one shifted to the right one pixel

I'm not sure of the easiest way to check angles, but I think if you made a criss-cross line in the exact middle and ghosted it several times straight up until you reached the height of the character that'd be a good way:

Really, they might need some lag when she's coming down from the peak of her jump.

Looks more like a pilgrim than a witch. What's the point in doing all that work on her body if she doesn't have skimpy clothes to show it off?

The lumpy cheek does look wierd, but it's less noticeable with the hat.

Draco does a good job fixing the perspective. In yours it looked like she was leaning waay too heavily on the far leg.

This is nice, though. Really good.

well that is going to be hard to explain.
But on the jumping animation, when the characters comes down on ground, he flexes the knee, but on your animation it seems that it opens it, and does not make it like normal leg and aaaahhh bullsh*t i'm too drunk to explain. i tried my best.
