Evil vs Good.

on: September 12, 2006, 10:30:53 am
I just finished drawing this moments ago.

It was inspired by the lines of pheurton back at PJ.

It's a devil sucking in what I call "gawd"
The gawd is quite pastel, I for some reason liked going with the pastel on it.
You have to look hard to see the face in the cloud.
I liked the used pallete so I kept all the colors and added one darker red.

Looks good (and evil, hehe). The level of contrast in the piece kind of makes the details in the 'gawd' hard to see, though. Is that selout on the top of the devil's head? If so, I'm not really sure it is needed on this, as this has an opaque backround which the outline can be purpose drawn for. Also, you could use the two lightest colours on the devil as anti-aliasing on the gawd's edges.
