[WIP] Suggested Improvements?

What improvements can I make? Suggestions on color palette? Also, if you could explain why you did what you did that would be very helpful. Thanks! (Be gentle)

I think it is not readable enough. I looked at it 10 seconds and after that I realised what I was seeing (or rather what perspective this is) Well If this are game tiles it's not that important.

Maybe making a higher contrast between floor and walls would help? (Except you would like to stick to this bluish color,then I think it's fine)

Shadows would be fine.

I made a few subtle changes:

• gave the lower corners an darker edge.
• added a darker shade between the large floor tiles to break them up a bit.
• used one of the lighter colours for the bricks and highlighted and shaded them, quick and dirty.
• added a darker colour to the 'top' of the walls.
• tweaked the bottom row of bricks to add depth.

overall only added two new shades to the palette that I used sparingly.

I will take your additions to heart, they make a lot of sense and will use them! Also, I've never been the best with colors so adding those colors what probably for the best!

Depending on how you want this to look, What size you want? x1? Bigger?

Because in x1 it gets really blurry and noisy, even more compared to the BIG bricks.
