Backdash animation I just finished. Hopefully it's clear what's going on with it.

I love these sprites, but the palette seems so dark, they don't pop as much as I think that they should..
A lot of the shading gets lost because the low contrast makes it into one large dark blob..

The character style and animations are AMAZING, but I can't help but get the feeling that the tiles don't fit the feel of the characters. I feel personally feel that the characters have a bright cartoon-ish style, and that's what the tiles lack. That's just my opinion though, the rest is fantastic.

Working on some art that may or may not end up in the game, really just wanted to get a better idea for what the main character looks like in my head down in pixels.

critique is appreciated on this one

Also a little dust animation.

Trying out a new style, I felt the small size was holding me back in terms of game play; the head was just so big that it made some actions animations look unreasonable, such as holding objects above the players head. I also feel there's more room to fit personality into the character animations with a larger sized sprite.

I love it dude.

I'm ready to start my new job so that I can work on my game again... Sick of 80 hour work weeks.
