What's even more funny is that it looks like he's suckling on his face.

A few of these would look pretty awesome if colored, like the face on the last image of the first post, or the naked kid sitting on the moon.

Oh, and lol @ avatar edit.

I don't know how many times I've told you, Zach or David to refine your ideas, to finish something for once.

Let's go for infinite.

Refine your shit.

I especially like the brown/red/blue creatures on the pale yellow background. There's something about the colors that feel oldschool to me. Like the colors I'd see on a needlepoint throw pillow case some lady sewed together in the 50's.

im so sorry about that mr. purist. times have changed...and so does art. i just dont understand your need to bring that up.

@vedsten, ive never laughed so hard. thanks for making my day.
@blick, i know man im sorry, lets ock soon.
@skull, punaji indeed? please explain.

thanks for the comments people, im aware that i need to refine my junk but its hard to find time so i enjoy sketching for the time being. i plan on really busting my ass on a good piece soon though.

the idea behind the sketches are good, i dont see why you wouldnt want to do actual drawings of them instead of these crude-looking pieces.  the sketchy quality doesnt appear to be a stylistic point, so why do it that way?  an explanation would help i think, otherwise all i can think is that you could do the same thing, faster, better, with markers
A mistake is a mistake.
The same mistake twice is a bad habit.
The same mistake three or more times is a motif.

I don't see what purism and art changing has to do with this. Just finish your art more, it's a good suggestion.

I've browsed Punaji a few times, and your works seem, to me, to have that nice sort of character style about them.

Im not a purist. i said very clearly in my post that i didnt mind it. but it should have been posted in the oftopic art thread(if we still have one of those.) as you dont seem to have any intention on making this into pixelart.

Im quoting tsugumo i think.(im doing it from memory but im pretty sure its quite right) "to make good looking art you do what you have to. but that doesnt change the fact that this is a forum for pixelart." he said that to daydream and then dd left :(

Exactly, and DayDream was really awesome. So do we want to ban artists for having a slightly differing style? No

I agree that it's cool when he finishes a piece, but these doodles are really great too, so why not let him post them. He's also put many in one thread, so it's not like a thread for a single doodle.

And also, Bo, let the mods do their job. If you don't agree with a thread, pm a mod or the author, don't post rude things inside the thread.

I love Punaji art. This topic should be moved to Punaji. Why don't you use vector art instead? Suits the style much better. I love Punaji art.

Done. And Bo, I suggest you start bitching around a little less.
