[WIP] Airship

Really stuck with this airship:

Can't figure out which option is better - with or without a front edge.
Well, actually I don't like both.

Any advices, guys? Maybe some refernces. Have no idea how to make it look like a real airship.  :'(

I love the style and the colours in overall. Maybe the cabin of the airship is a bit massive for the balloon, and maybe it lacks propellers to be recognized easily as such.

I'd have a slight preference for 3/4 baloon, but I can't get convinced by its shading...

nice mockup :-D

u could just break up the balloon into sections like this...


i also think elements like the plants in the bottom right could come forward a bit more to add depth.
they're really washed out on my screen.

I love the colors and the shading, overall it gives of a great mysterious vibe.
I'm not a huge fan of the rounded rectangle balloon though..

It's a good idea, thank you! Now I have to figure out how propellers can connect to a machine inside the airship:

That's a really nice solution. You could also add some repaired patches and seams with stitches to help convey that it's fabric.
Propellers is must, but I first thought they were some kind of gun turrets.

I think its looking great and seisekis suggestions r great.
yeah they don't read so well as propellers unless they're moving perhaps.
maybe 1 big propeller would more readable and also more "mario"?
and there could be a big rudder hanging off the bottom.

something about the carriage gave me the impression of a cut-away view.
I think its how dark the background if it is and that all we can see is the tech.
The tech looks great as usual with ur stuff but maybe there's too much and u could vary it by having some tech on one side to power the propellor, and the other side is more bare panels with a window or something?

Maybe later, I'm satisfied how looks current version of airship, but now we have to finish the game and all development stuff (more levels and puzzles! haha). Again, thank you for advices and especially to Decroded for edit, it really helps.

i read u said u were thinking about changing the main character.
i was wondering why? is it because u don't want ppl to think its a mario style game?
for the record i think he looks cool as he is tho im sure u have other ideas that will look great.
