My first (in my opinion) well done pixel sprite

I drew a vaguely twitter like bird, I want to get into pixel art and this is the first sprite i have ever drawn. What do you guys think of it?

The legs seem a little long, and the shading could be vastly improved, but don't be demotivated because you're doing just fine for what is probably one of your first attempts.

I really recommend finding some good tutorials, or videos of others making pixel art.
