Jason's mask had an iconic red chevron on the forehead in most instances of the series, maybe if you add that it'll look less egglike and more like his mask :)

Here's another try. Cranked up contrast and tweaked the mask some).

Most importantly, rip it apart as if it a piece of raw pork and you hadn't eaten in the desert for 1 month.
