Hey guys, I'm working on an rpg named Shadows of Adam. The art style is meant to be reminiscent of classic snes rpgs while also embracing modern day aesthetics and the evolution of pixel art. I will use this thread to track my progress throughout the project and to post WIPs of things I'm currently working on related to this game.

Cyangmou has worked with us producing our tile sets and establishing the 32 color palette. I've worked on most of the remaining assets. Recently Dragon Emperor (-DE-) has joined the team and will be assisting with background and animations primarily. Below are a number of shots from the game. Feedback is appreciated!

Lovelly style. I really like how you shaded the on the 2 bottom pics
Image size doesn't matter! It's what you do with your pixels that counts!

Sorry for the inactivity. Been super busy with an impending move, so I haven't had time to update.

@hawken, this project has been in development for about a year and a half. We've all worked on it in our spare time mostly, but the past six months development has been taken more seriously and given more priority.

We recently settled on a logo for our game, and I was tasked with scaling it down to the pixel level. It's mostly complete, but I feel like the AA work could be better in places. What do you think of the logo overall? Does it capture your attention? What does it make you think of? Any feedback appreciated.

this one seems blured, because of the shadow :

I really prefer the second, much more consistant :)

Updated the logo a bit based on some feedback from Jalonso on pixeljoint. I only edited the pixel version, the hi-res is the same for now. Most of the edits were for consistency across the font. Overall I think I like it better.

Saved out both images with a background that better approximates how it will appear in game and elsewhere.

I'd be tempted to change the highlight color of the thorns especially. Ramp highlights shouldn't make everything look like metallics (do an image search on metallic car or metallic purple to see what I mean). More suitable for the brass metal architecture I guess (if that is metal and not wood).
