reminds me of the scene in the godfather when they kill luca brasi.  i like the palette, but i feel like theres something off about the placement of the knife; i just dont think it could have pierced the wrist just there without using say a hammer

The same mistake twice is a bad habit.
The same mistake three or more times is a motif.

Haha, that's true, Adarias.  There are a lot of bones there.

What? How did you tell what that was, Adarias? The purple is way too light for me, which makes the whole image seem washed out and...washed out. I didn't even know that thing there was a hand, much less that the knife was piercing its wrist.

No, it's probably understandable...the difference between my Dell and ViewSonic monitors is pretty outstanding.  Still, you probably should be able to make it out.

Oh that's a hand? I thought it was some kind of instrument, because the fingers are perfectly aligned and the same size and the wrist is indicated by a straight horizontal line at the top which makes it look flat.

Is that a window in the background?

The purple looks a bit too saturated, I toned it down a bit in photoshop, and it looked better to me.

Knife and tips bowl look great.
