[Rev-Share] Sci-Fi platformer project.

on: February 11, 2015, 06:00:57 pm
Well like everyone in this forum apparently my team needs a 2D Pixel Artist, now who would've thought that?
Basically we have gotten to the point where we don't have the time to do the art ourselves as we need to get going on
aspects of the project that we each specialize in. That's where you (The amazingly awesome artist.) come in.

Our ideal artist would have the following abilities:
- The ability to meet reasonable deadlines.
- The ability to utilize image editing software proficiently.
- The ability to create pixel art that is not just a shrunken image. (We get applicants like this way too often.)
- The ability to create 16-bit sprites.
- The ability to create 16-bit scenery.
- The ability to anime sprites/scenery.

Our team currently consists of:
- A proven writer
- A proven musician
- A proven, and professionally educated programmer
- A project manager/designer

What tools are you guys using in the development process?
Well we are using industry standard tools, our game engine is fully licensed and we are using a document sharing
platform, as well as an IM platform.

How is the revenue split for this project?
The revenue is an even split of any revenue after deductions such as operational costs, publishing fees, and
licensing fees. These fees don't actually amount to much.

Can you tell me a little about the game?
The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world which is overgrown in alien flora/fauna. The character starts out by crash landing
and coming across a quirky alien which sets the character upon their adventure. It will be a 16bit MetroidVania that will make
use of interesting tools, menacing bosses, and interesting logic puzzles.

I am screening about 10 applicants per day so don't hesitate to apply even if you don't think you will get it, we might need
multiple artists! Don't be intimidated we are novices ourselves!

If you are interested in working with us, fire an email towards: nonviablemaple@gmail.com , I will respond to you promptly
and give you further instructions for our screening process.
