the light source should be from further to the right.
Basically this.
You're drawing a symmetrical, evenly lit rendition while using a non symmetrical, heavily directional lit photo as reference.
There's nothing wrong with that.
But you have to be aware of it and choose.
Do you want to draw the photo? --> pure observational recording
Or do you want to draw the person in the photo? --> information gathering interpretation --> you'd do much better with 2 or 3 photos from different angles
