Character sprite

So I've continued to work away on my character sprite.  Tried to implement some of the critique I received ages ago.  Have since made the side views.
As this is my first character sprite I've ever worked on I would very much appreciate some further guidance.  Got any advice or criticism, please share.

well the bottom part of his torso reads as a fat belly from front , but from the sides looks like a flat stomach idk
