[C+C] Game characters( player and enemies)

Hello Pixelation this is my first post, and after some browsing i decided that this is a really good site so i made an account.
I am making a game so I would like your opinion on this guys. Knight on the right  (it rhymes ) is a king and that is the player, the other two are enemies that you encounter in the forest.
I want to know if you like them and if there is something to do to make them look better (especially the mushroom dude) before I make more.

I like them a lot!

I agree that the mushroom dude feels a little bit different than the other two. Also hard to understand if the green dots are eyes or what it is.

As for the King I think the armour need some work. Right now it is hard understand were the armour ends and the cape begins.

The other enemy is just awesomeness!

I agree the mushroom dude does look a bit off but he is still WIP. And I just noticed that i should move the kings head a pixel to right.

I would go with less shades on the knight.  There's too many, and it makes it a bit easier to animate.
