I Heart Dinosaurs

on: August 01, 2006, 11:18:56 am
Well dinosaur... bug... abstractions... http://www.explodingdog.com/ inspired
update

This was kinda a test for a pallet i made up. which may not sound very big but i have always struggled with making original pallets (due to my mildish colour blindness*) so its actually quite a big step for me.

(*I get similar shades of certain colours mixed up, Green and Yellow, Blue and Purple, Red and Brown etc. though knowing whats where in paint helps)

I really like this. It's super cute, just weird enough, and inspired by explodingdog, which is worth like a million points straight off.

I did an edit on your aa, which was a bit inconsistent. In some places it's good, others, a bit off, and some places completely non-existent, (which threw me a bit).

I understand that it was probably a stylistic thing, but I thought some smoothing couldn't hurt. The edit usesonly your original palette, so no worries on colour count (if you care about that kind of thing).

Anyway, it's really a great piece. I think so, anyway. :D

I like this, it (as said before) is some-waht cute. If i was you though, i wouldnt have edited the AAing after Trem becuase now it in some places looks a bit fuzzy like Trem said it can get inconsistant. Nice piece anyhow!
