Getting into pixel art animation

And no better way to get started than by bouncing a ball. Or, in this case, a weird slime thing.



The shifting hue was mostly just to make it less boring, and it's more code wizardry than animating, so I'm not too attached to it.

Are there any good tutorials for getting started with animating in pixel art styles?

I'll suggest adding more squashing and more exaggeration to it. You are really just moving the lower border, while you should be flattening the whole thing to the ground when it lands.
