aww - seeing the sword by itself and not seeing anything below confuses the piece. like the colors, but the sword just makes it weird. maybe if it were coming up at a lower angle, or if it wasn't the same width the whole way through - i don't know, i would probably get rid of it. it's not like it would take hours...hopefully   8)  besides, that's what art is all about! making it better!

I think the sword confused your bottom half too. it looks far too much to the left. expand it to the right more.

Maybe it's just me, but I think she looks somewhat like she has stubble.

Hmm, i was just about to say. I think you could break that up by making the shadow go along a bit more diagonally, then adding some light on the side of her face a bit more... not sure if that's physically correct, but you need to break up the stubblish look somehow.

It does look really great... lol, reminded me of Xena >.<

Like most however, i'm not keen on the sword. It would probably look better once coloured, but at the moment it just seems in the way and awkward.

Neway, keep it up.  :D

I noticed the same stubble thing as well. I think it's because it darkens so much down there by the jaw. I think if there's that much light hitting her forehead, there should be approximately the same amount hitting her jaw and mouth, the only thing casting much of a shadow would be the nose.

Another vote for an unshaved shemale here. But otherwise lovely.
