Here's some solaire fan art, improvements and C&C will be appreciated .

It's flat. No sense of any light source whatsoever due to lack of any form of shadowing. And it's at a ridiculous scale for the low-resolution you're trying to convey.

Mixing low-res imagery with high-res text just never works.


Other than that, there's not really much else to say.

I agree with astraldata, and I can suggest to you to find some reference so you can better understand what he said to you.



For example here you can see dark shadows, mid tones and highlights. You only have one color dimension.
Also you should work on anatomy in general, because you don't have body forms defined at all.
Pixeling maybe looks very easy but that's not true. You should practice drawing on paper first, that will improve your skill.

I will try to work with the refrence picture you have. By the way, where did you find that picture, i spent hours trying to find a good reference picture.
