someday I'll learn to control my detail obsession - all the small features are totally lost unless viewing this thing up close. ridiculous habit

when i zoom way out, the tank scene looks pretty photoreal, good jaerb

sat down to make a parallax layer for a background, wanted some facety rocks with big holes to show sky behind
fast base (all brush work, even though it looks like a filter . . .) went ok but the finishing pass makes it look like mushy nothingness
 
Once again I'm reminded I have no idea what I'm doing. ggggggggggggggggggggg
will redo now . . .

and then there's oded, counting bullets all day.

utilized a nifty lil program today that facilitates doing the trendy Photoshop triangulation filter technique on images.
these results are okayish.
 
Might look pretty sweet with some normal mapping. it's an in-game asset, so slap some dynamic lighting on there and . . .
