@Atnas: I haven't decided completely yet.
For small stuff I usually just start with pixels.
But trying to do sketchy stuff more just to see what I can get out of it.
Will post more like it as I make them.

@Elm: Welcome to Pixelation!  :)
Try to theme your colors more.
Tweak your palette as you go, it feels too pre-determined.
Also build a feel for the materials.
It will help you choose colors.
The size doesn't really bother me.
Still plenty of pixel level work you could do on this.
But you could definitely cover much more ground if you work on smaller pixels.

First time posting here aha.
I'm not sure if this is a wip or not because honestly with drawing in Sai I get kinda lazy and don't color-
That and plus I can kinda rush im a very slow with drawing ^^;
my only complaint with my own style is just the lineart I feel like its off somehow  :yell:
That and also sizing with canvases .o.

Basically its sorta a concept sketch of a character of mine I want to pixelate in a later date. Picture to the right I tried to imagine her what she would look like alive sorta? but then I got lazy and just yeah.

@Ai
Ahh yes. It's pretty big, I was definitely approaching it more from a illustration eye.  I've been using PyxelEdit and I've find it to be quite comfortable for creating spritesheets, and animations. I haven't heard of MyPaint, but I'll be sure to check out the HCY selector. My colour theory is pretty awful, since I never colour anything.

@PixelPiledriver
Ahh, I love what you did with her. I'm pretty awful at colours, so I guess I didnt really have a lot in mind for it. Still a massive WIP. I really like your use of blue for the highlight. I may just have to take that on myself.  :-[

Yesterdays things:

Not great, but definitely better than my very first attempt....
Also some fanart lineart. (100% resolution would of been waaay too big)
