So, I decided to sit down, give my personal art project a major facelift and this is what I got. Basically, the art project is an easy-to-program idle game written in Javascript, and the art direction is something JRPG-like basically Frankensteined out of Western, Chinese, and modern styles.
Of course, that earlier motif study of what makes a setting look Chinese, I shared earlier pretty much gave me an obvious suggestion to try an art direction, much like what Fez did, to abuse the hell out of right angles.

Named this new font 'Central Square' because the setting as suggested earlier intends to use China as one source of inspiration, which I named my setting's starting country "Centralia" which is a bilingual joke considering China in Chinese pretty much means something very similar. So... Center + Square font = Central Square.
Sounds awfully city-like for something used in a "East-ish-Asian-ish aesthetic" but who cares?
