Cyan, is that middle one Rachel Weisz? Lara Flynn Boyle top right?
This game is fun.

Actually I dunno, I just doodled random photographs of females this time found through google. The small drawings are not to be understood as portrait, rather as process sketches for finding out certain things I could apply to more elaborated portrait pieces or to imaginative drawings.

This is a sketch thread and should emphasizes just the fun part of drawing and the fact that people posting here actually draw something.
The purpose of a sketch is neither to to be great nor to be fully detailled.
I guess nobody here will offend anyone because of his/her sketches.

left ones out of mind, right ones for going more in depth about where the differences of female/male faces are.

"Because the beauty of the human body is that it hasn't a single muscle which doesn't serve its purpose; that there's not a line wasted; that every detail of it fits one idea, the idea of a man and the life of a man."

Damn that's a cool robo-head!

Haven't posted here for (p)ages.

Sir Ketchup: Just to prove that you don't have to post pro level I'll post something super sloppy:

This sketch does serve me some purpose though at least.

More optimistic choices. I seem to not only be bad at proportions, but for some reason contrast escapes me every time.
Good thing I get to practice daily.

Indigo, that's just plain awesome.

Ketchup, just go through this thread and you'll find a few studies to do to make your art more realistic. I'm doing a value study, Cyan is doing a proportion study and Ryu is doing a master study.

a couple. Proportions are generally ok. A little low-waisted and low-naveled(?)
I would spend time learning the shapes of the muscles, how they interact with each other, and more importantly, their origins and insertions. bodies are hard.
