I like that mechanical stuff!
Something seems weird with yesterday's perspective (the left drawing), the arm is round and the hand look really flat in comparison.

Self-portrait I made as a part of this week's compixellated challenge~
I finished my first commission, but I'll have to wait a bit before I can share it D:

and some other parts are quite off in terms of perspective as well, especially the knuckle-plate.
It's hard for me to get the initial quick concept sketches, when I am initially exploring the form details right.
Maybe that's just how it is, maybe my skill level or the level of my imagination needs more care, as most things I do it's always getting better with the second drawing, means once the idea was already clearly nailed down -
For the pencil drawings on paper there is no quick copy paste resize shortcut (I love digital drawing for that aspect), but that's also a point why I am drawing with pencil and paper for practice purposes, because most lines are absolute once you drew them (except if I am really off I am using an eraser)

nice portrait, seems to be in line with your avatar =)

@DatMuffinMan
Welcome here~!

@Cyangmou
Well, it's not that bad; I think you progress a lot more by moving on than staying on the same drawing trying to make it perfect. When it comes to improving skills I think "quantity over quality" is more useful D:
And I never draw much because of the lack of copy/paste/etc, so I totally understand ahah

Aaand here's my first commission ever. Yay!

started Sunday with another round of the portrait game.
Uma Thurman and Kit Harrington for practicing drawing actual people relatively quick
random Asian girl, I did first with frontview for warming up drawing a kid and practicing the Asian physiognomy

initial sketches.
Guess would need a cleaner drawing for the actual mechanism and some more detail, but the rough idea works (at least in my imagination)
