Semester is over so I finally have more time to work on my game. I'm not quiet finished with this one, but its close.

Ok, its 100% done now. I just had to do the hair and sorta fix the shine spots on the balloons. I may work on his face and the shine spots more at some point, but its done for now.

Dyluckk, the pigtails are 400% more powerful than in the concept :crazy:

PixelPiledriver, I see a witch offering a green apple to some kid. It took me time to see that it's not vertically symmetric :o

PsylentKinght, I finally get to see some more of that clown! First time I saw him was a while ago :lol: since you started working on other parts of your game and such ::)

Let's see if I can sit down to sketch for an hour a day, since my semester is almost over :P...

Did some uninspired stuff and then went back to polishing yesterday's work a bit more.
I'll try to take a couple minutes to think of an interesting topic/reference, to avoid my comfort zone.

FYI, the body/head bouncing up and down should usually be two bounces rather than one in the loop, high points when the legs pass each other, and low points when the legs are furthest apart.

You've given him a sort of pronounced comical limp (which I agree does look fun).

Yea, I've been moving pretty slow. I mostly got hung up on that background, lost steam and then abandoned the project for a while since I got busy with classes.

I like your colors for your sketches.  :y:

@Dyliuckk:
That girl brought her pigtail A-game.  :lol: Interested to see the run animation, could end up with some pretty cool results with those pigtails.

@winkatawink: Nice squash and stretch. That's something I often fail at in my animations and they seem kind of lifeless as a result.



3/4 NPC idle animations complete. Note that these idle animations won't play in a constant loop, they'll be played every few seconds with the characters just sitting there in the intervals.

I don't like this one very much, but it gets the job done I suppose.
